Instructor: Carol Gates
Fee: $25 per month - Maximum class
size: 5 students
Ten months, ten pillows! Starting
February, you will learn a new technique and
embellishment every month for making beautiful
decorator pillows. These small projects are
addictive. Once you get started, you will be
combining all that you have learned to make unique
pillows that are just the right size, style and
color for your home or to give to that special
someone.
You may choose which classes to
register for, but pay close attention to the skills
taught in each session. There is a progression from
simple to complex patterns, and not every technique
will be covered each class. For example, adding
piping to the pillow edge will be taught in March.
The April pillow has piping, but that skill will not
be covered in the April class. Request the Pillow
Project schedule of classes to be taught for more
information.
Students will provide fabric, thread,
buttons, zippers, batting and stuffing. The
instructor will provide specialty items or materials
that are needed. |
